Videos circulating on social media show Spanish police in Bilbao airport violently attacking Gaza Flotilla activists returning home after being kidnapped and detained by Israel.
Volunteers from the Global Sumud Flotilla, who reported being subject to torture and sexual violence when they were abducted and jailed by Israel for attempting to deliver Gaza humanitarian aid, were met with a crowd of supporters and family upon arriving in the Basque country.
Clashes with the police broke out in the airport with video footage showing officers violently beating activists with batons and dragging people away.
