PSG hosted their Champions League final media day on Wednesday ahead of their heavyweight showdown with Arsenal in Budapest on May 30
PSG superstar Ousmane Dembele has provided assurances he will be fit to face Arsenal in the Champions League final.
The French winger was forced off in the first half of PSG’s final Ligue 1 fixture last weekend as they lost 2-1 to Paris FC.
Dembele headed straight down the tunnel to get treatment on his calf, sparking concern that he could be set for a spell on the sidelines.
However, he’s now confirmed it was only a minor scare, telling RMC Sport: “I’m doing very well. I had a slight scare against Paris FC, but I’m fine and I’ll be ready for the final.
“Will I be 100% for the final? Yes, yes, I think so, yes, I’ll be ready. I have no doubt about it, I hope to be on the pitch on May 30th.

“I’ve had so many minor scares or major injuries in my career, whether here at PSG or even before, especially with the big matches coming up, especially this final, I preferred to stop and above all not take any risks.”
Flying left-back Nuno Mendes and centre-back Willian Pacho were also back in light team training on Wednesday.
Despite playing in both Champions League semi-final matches against Bayern Munich, he has played just 18 minutes in Ligue 1 since April 3.
He’s missed the past four games with a dead leg but has also now confirmed he’ll be available to face the Gunners: “Today, I’m fine. I’m going to rest well and train well to be ready for the final.”
Mendes also had a message for Arsenal after they were crowned Premier League champions, stating: “They were champions because City didn’t win. Congratulations to them. We’ve got a big match to play on the 30th. I’m focusing on PSG.”
Ecuadorian defender Pacho has also missed the last three Ligue 1 matches of the season with a dead leg but has effectively just been rested by Luis Enrique.
Newly-crowned Premier League champions Arsenal still have several players that are doubts for the Champions League final – not least Jurrien Timber.
The Dutch right-back has been absent since mid-March when he injured his groin against Everton while midfielder Mikel Merino is pushing to return following foot surgery earlier this year.
Right-back Ben White will definitely miss the Champions League final after damaging his MCL in the recent 1-0 win at West Ham.
