An Israeli air strike killed one person and wounded several others after targeting a tent sheltering displaced Palestinians in southern Gaza, according to Wafa news agency.
Local sources said the attack struck a site in al-Mawasi, west of Khan Younis, an area previously designated by Israel as a so-called “humanitarian zone” where thousands of displaced Palestinians have sought refuge.
Earlier in the day, at least four Palestinians were killed in separate Israeli attacks across the besieged enclave.
