The Legal Centre for Arab Minority Rights in Israel, Adalah, said that activists who were captured by Israel from the Gaza-bound Global Sumud aid flotilla were subjected to electric shocks as well as physical and psychological abuse.
Three activists have been hospitalised as a result of serious injuries, according to the group. Dozens of others are suspected to be suffering from broken ribs and breathing difficulties sustained through Israeli detention.
Activist have been documented to be forced into stress positions, including walking while fully bent forward and kneeling for prolonged periods.
Several women also noted that there head coverings were forcibly removed.
