Thomas Frank is set to cast his eye over talent ahead of his next job
Thomas Frank has landed a new job following his dismissal by Tottenham.
The Danish coach was brought in to succeed Ange Postecoglou at the start of the campaign, but was sacked just seven months later after a run of two wins in 17 league games. Tottenham continued to struggle following Frank’s departure, with Igor Tudor also getting the boot before the appointment of Roberto de Zerbi, who looks to have staved off relegation.
A point at Chelsea on Tuesday will effectively ensure survival at the expense of West Ham. As for Frank, the Dane has already lined up his next assignment, with the former Brentford boss set to feature in the BBC’s punditry line-up at the World Cup, giving him valuable insight ahead of his next job.

The broadcaster has revealed its team for the tournament, which begins on June 11. Among the former players and managers confirmed as analysts was Frank, who contributed to the BBC’s coverage of the 2024 European Championship in Germany.
Frank hasn’t addressed his spell as Spurs manager publicly so far. The 52-year-old’s representative, Ekstra Bladet, said: “He is going to relax a bit and visit friends and family.
“Still a little too early for interviews. He is enjoying himself with family and friends right now. Has decided to pull the plug and relax.”
Frank will be part of an impressive BBC line-up, which features a pair of ex-Arsenal stars, Olivier Giroud and Gael Clichy, alongside regular BBC pundits Wayne Rooney, Joe Hart, Alan Shearer and Micah Richards.
Other significant additions include Lucas Leiva, previously of Liverpool, and Cesar Azpilicueta, a Champions League winner with Chelsea. Former Premier League referee Darren Cann will also be part of the team, providing analysis on key refereeing decisions.
