Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone has reaffirmed his long-term commitment to the club, with his contract running until 2027.
Despite periodic speculation and challenging seasons, Simeone has consistently stated his desire to continue, recently emphasizing his intention to get the club back to challenging for major titles after finishing third in La Liga.

While committed to Atleti, he has expressed a desire to manage in Italy (specifically Inter Milan or Lazio) one day, where he played, but that move is not imminent.
“If I’m being honest, I’m thinking about next season. I’m thinking about myself. I will continue, but I’m thinking about how to approach a new season,” he said.
Simeone has transformed the club, winning two La Liga titles and two Europa Leagues among several other trophies.
