Baghdad said on Monday it had opened an investigation into Saudi claims that a drone attack the previous day was launched from Iraqi territory.
In a statement, Iraq’s Foreign Ministry said the country’s air defence systems had not detected any drones taking off or passing through Iraqi airspace.
