Endrick to return to Real Madrid

Lyon recruitment chief Matthieu Louis-Jean has confirmed that Endrick will return to Real Madrid following his loan spell with the Ligue 1 giants.

The Brazil international joined Lyon on a temporary deal in January and he has scored eight goals in 21 games since his arrival at the club. His form has attracted reported interest from Arsenal, among several other top teams, but Louis-Jean has confirmed that Endrick is set to return to Real Madrid ahead of next season.

“Yes, we would like to keep him, but for the moment, that seems very unlikely,” he told reporters.

“It makes you want to extend his contract. Is it possible? That’s another matter. It’s been a very good loan for Endrick; he’s had a great time here. He’s been surprising, amazing in the way he’s adapted. He already speaks French, which is incredible. He’s a good lad”

He added: “He brought us a lot in a very short time. He delivered what we expected of him. He’s a young player who will improve, and I hope he goes to the World Cup and has a great World Cup. It was a good time together. Now, will it continue? Today, it’s over, yes.”

Jeremy Monga offer

Arsenal have presented a “compelling offer” to Leicester City wonderkid Jeremy Monga, as per transfer insider HandofArsenal on X.

The 16-year-old made 27 Championship appearances for Leicester this season, scoring once, and he is widely regarded as one of the best young talents in English football.

Several top Premier League clubs have been linked with a move for Monga in recent months and Arsenal are keen to win the race for his signature following Leicester’s relegation to League One.

If Monga accepts Arsenal’s contract offer, with talks underway, the Gunners will still be required to negotiate a compensation fee with Leicester before a deal is confirmed.

Gabriel Jesus asking price

Arsenal are open to selling Gabriel Jesus on a permanent deal if they receive an offer worth around €35 million, according to CaughtOffside.

The Brazil forward has just over one year remaining on his current deal at the Emirates Stadium and AC Milan are reportedly among the teams interested in signing him, although his wage demands could prove to be a stumbling block.

Jesus has fallen behind Viktor Gyokeres and Kai Havertz in the pecking order at Arsenal and it’s understood that a sale is on the cards, with Mikel Arteta’s side keen to avoid losing him on a Bosman deal in 2027.

Sandro Tonali ‘for sale’

Newcastle United are reportedly ready to sell Arsenal target Sandro Tonali during the upcoming summer transfer window as they look to raise funds before the start of next season.

The Italy international has been one of the Magpies’ standout performers this season and the club have previously been reluctant to sanction a sale in order to ensure Eddie Howe still has a talented squad at his disposal next campaign.

However, Italian publication Corriere della Sera claim that a u-turn has been made, with Newcastle now placing Tonali ‘up for sale’ amid significant interest from both Arsenal and Manchester United.

As exclusively revealed by FootballTransfers earlier this year, Tonali is one of Arsenal’s top midfield targets for this summer, with the club ready to pursue a deal as they look to bolster the options available to Arteta ahead of 2026-27.

Bradley Barcola hope

Arsenal have been given hope in their bid to sign Paris Saint-Germain star Bradley Barcola, with Liverpool uncertain whether to pursue a deal.

The Frenchman has refused to sign a contract extension with the Ligue 1 champions, and reports now suggest that PSG are more open to parting with the winger than they were last year.

L’Equipe have confirmed that Barcola’s future at the Parc des Princes is far from certain, especially as PSG are in the market for another attacking signing, which would threaten to reduce his playing time even more.

The French outlet corroborates that Liverpool’s interest in Barcola is “genuine” but claims that signing a left-winger may not be sanctioned due to the presence of Rio Ngumoha.

The fact that Arne Slot’s are reluctant to make a move for Barcola, whose best role is on the left, is good news for Arsenal, who increasingly look a more credible destination for the 23-year-old than Merseyside.
