Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani has spoke over the phone to Saudi Foreign MInistr Prince Faisal bin Farhan al-Saud.
According to a statement from Doha, the two discussed the ceasefire between the US and Iran and attempts at de-escalating the situation.
This comes shortly before Iran is expected to reveal its plan to manage the Strait of Hormuz, including charging tolls.
