Iranian President Pezeshkian has said the goal of the US and Israel in attacking Iran has been “to spread insecurity inside the country by supporting terrorist groups”.
The president made the comments in a meeting in Tehran with Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
Pezeshkian said that the US-Israeli plan faiued due to the “cooperation and responsibility of Iran’s neighbours in preventing any misuse of their territory against our country was a valuable and commendable act”.
He also thanked Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iraq for not allowing the US or Israel to use their territory to attack Iran, according to Iranian media.
