Dozens of people have been injured after a car ploughed through crowds in a historic city in northern Italy.
The driver of the vehicle reportedly crashed into a shop window in Modena and stabbed a passerby who tried to stop him, according to local media.
At least four people are said to be fighting for their lives following the collision at Via Emilia Centro.
The suspect, aged in his 30s, was detained moments after attempting to flee between Rua Pioppa and Corso Adriano.
