Bundesliga: Tella Missing As Bayer Leverkusen Hold Hamburger

Super Eagles winger Nathan Tella was missing in action as Bayer Leverkusen were held to a 1-1 draw by Hamburger in Saturday’s Bundesliga game.

The Nigerian international, who has made 17 appearances, has scored one and bagged six assists this season for Leverkusen.

Recall that Tella was nursing a muscle injury and was left off the team.

The host thought they had taken the lead in the 26th minute through Schick, only for his goal to be disallowed by the video assistant referee.

However, the visitor netted the opening goal in the 61st minute thanks to a brilliant goal from Vieira, silencing the home supporters.

Leverkusen leveled parity in the 78th minute through Quansah to earn a share of the spoils for both teams.
