The Los Angeles Dodgers hosted the rival San Francisco Giants on Tuesday only to discover the real enemy was in the crowd at Chavez Ravine.
While the Giants cruised to a sorely needed 6-2 win, two separate groups of Dodgers fans got into a melee in the upper deck along the first base line, as seen in a video that has since gone viral.
The combatants, all women, are seen slapping each other before a screaming match ensued. Security arrived at one point to escort some of the women away, but it remains unclear how the fight began or how the guards determined which party to remove.
What is clear is that several women in one row were furious with at least one in the row in front of them. One woman in a black Freddie Freeman replica jersey got in more shots than anyone and was heard berating others as security led two women away.

The woman in the Freeman jersey also had a few words for security before making a gesture with her hands as she was about to be led away.
It’s unclear if anyone else was ejected from the wild scene at Dodger Stadium.
Somewhat confusingly, one of the women in the lower row was dressed in a Los Angeles Angels jersey. This individual appeared to take more abuse than anyone around her, but also managed to get in a few shots against the women in the higher row.
Dodger Stadium has been the seen of a number of viral incidents in recent years. In 2023 alone, 71 crimes were reported at Dodgers games.Â
Two years earlier, there were seven reported assaults over a pair of games with the Houston Astros, including one alleged attack on security.
The team’s popularity typically means Dodger Stadium seats are packed. Currently LA ranks first in attendance at 51,066 fans per game.
