Man Utd back in for Bellingham
Man Utd have reignited their interest in Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jobe Bellingham, according to TEAMtalk.
The Red Devils were interested in Jude Bellingham’s younger brother before he made the move to Germany last summer, having starred for Sunderland in their promotion campaign.
Bellingham endured a difficult start to life at Dortmund, but his improved recent form has alerted Man Utd and other Premier League giants. The Old Trafford club are now seriously considering him as an option for their midfield revamp.
Chelsea quoted hefty Ramon price
Chelsea have been told that they must pay around €50 million for Como defender Jacobo Ramon, Sports Boom claims.
The Spaniard has been a standout performer in Serie A, but signing him from Como will be difficult. Real Madrid have an €8m buy-back option and a 50% sell-on clause, meaning that they retain control over his future.
Recent reports have suggested that Los Blancos won’t bring Ramon back until next year, which could open the door to a sale from Como. However, due to the 50% sell-on clause, any deal will only come at a hefty premium.
Lewandowski to Portugal?
Barcelona star Robert Lewandowski is fielding strong interest from Porto, as per Sky Germany.
The newly-crowned Portuguese champions already have a strong Polish contingent in the squad, with Jakub Kiwior, Jan Bednarek and Oskar Pietuszewski. Lewandowski would join on a free transfer.
Fabrizio Romano states that a departure from Barcelona is becoming increasingly likely, as the player remains unhappy with the terms the club have offered him in their bid to get him to agree to a contract extension.
Spurs eye Guirassy
Tottenham are showing an interest in Borussia Dortmund striker Serhou Guirassy, Nicolo Schira asserts.
The Guinea international is looking to leave the Bundesliga giants this summer, having grown frustrated with Niko Kovac’s style of play. Guirassy, who turned 30 in March, is gunning for one last big contract.
He inserted a special release clause into his Dortmund deal that is only valid for certain clubs. Tottenham are not among those clubs, so they will have to negotiate with BVB, who are trying to convince the striker to stay.
Newcastle edge closer to Nunez deal
Al-Hilal striker Darwin Nunez is becoming an increasingly serious option for Newcastle, Football Insider writes.
The former Liverpool striker, who has also been linked with Chelsea, has an agreement with Al-Hilal to leave the club after just one season, having been de-registered from their Saudi Pro League squad in February to free up space for Karim Benzema.
Newcastle are showing a genuine interest in the Uruguayan, and their chances of a deal are “continually growing stronger.” Personal terms could be an issue, though, as Nunez is on a lucrative deal in Saudi Arabia.
