Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Abdul Latif Al Sheikh launched a sharp attack on the Muslim Brotherhood group, warning: “Those who have been warned have no excuse.”
In a post on X on Wednesday, Al Sheikh said: “I swear by Almighty God that those affiliated with the party of deception, betrayal and treachery pursue every path to reach power and achieve what they were promised by those who kill peoples, destroy states and steal wealth.”
He added that the group uses “grand promises” of reform, organisation and increased wealth to win the trust of those who appoint or support them, while in reality they “incite people, fuel unrest and stir up strife to destroy nations and everyone in them”.

Al Sheikh went on to say that “whoever trusts Brotherhood party members will end up licking blood from their hands instead of the honey God has blessed them with”.
He added that anyone who failed to learn from “the events and disasters that have struck innocent peoples in the past and present” had missed an opportunity they would later regret.
The minister’s post was widely circulated online and sparked strong reactions from users supporting his remarks.
One commentator wrote: “You are right, minister. Many attractive slogans have hidden sedition, destruction and the tearing apart of nations, and history is witness to that.”
Another user said: “History and events have shown that partisan groups such as the Muslim Brotherhood have prioritised their own interests and organisations over the interests of nations and the Muslim community, dragging them into strife and division.”
