In 1951, Mohammad Mosaddegh nationalised Iran’s oil, ending 50 years of Britain’s monopoly over Iranian oil.

Two years later, he was overthrown in a covert coup backed by the CIA and Britain.

This is the story of how one week in August changed Iran and still shapes the country to this day.
