NFL WAG reveals husband's insensitive response to her having $20,000 stolen

The wife of an NFL running back filmed herself wiping away tears over her husband’s shocking response after money was stolen from her.

Tori Gibson, the wife of New England Patriots running back Antonio Gibson, posted a video on April 29 of her laying in bed as she was crying.

Text over the video read, ‘My NFL husband told me not to cry about the $20,000 I earned for our family that was stolen from me.’ 

Sad music played over the video which was captioned, ‘I waited until he fell asleep.’

Tori did not provide any other context in the video or in any follow-up videos posted to her TikTok page. In one video, she said that an explanation would be shared to her YouTube channel, but none of her videos have yet to reveal more details.

Fans in the comments under the TikTok post were stunned over Antonio’s response and supported Tori in her feelings.

‘Idc how rich you are that’s a lot man,’ read one comment. Another said, ‘Nah baby I’d cry also cause once upon a time you ain’t have that 20 ya know I get it.’

‘I’m sorry. It’s not about if you need it. It’s about the fact that you earned it,’ read another comment. 

One fan said, ‘Don’t cry…it will work out. I don’t even know you personally…but I love you. Your personality is so real..and it’s refreshing. You are strong and you all will get through this.’

The video was also shared to Instagram, where Antonio posted a comment under the video in response.

‘I told my baby not to cry because I know the situation would get resolved and worse case scenario her husband works hard enough to where she shouldn’t worry about it,’ the NFL player’s comment read.

‘Also she’s gonna make way more than that.. What’s meant to be will be and may it come back 10X.’

Tori replied, ‘Now I’m crying again. I love you. so grateful for my husband. You’re completely right baby.’

The couple tied the knot in 2025 and share three children – with another on the way.
