Real Madrid have handed €500,000 fines [£432k] to both Federico Valverde and Aurelien Tchouameni following their training ground dispute.
The pair were involved in two bust-ups during the week, the second of which led to Valverde being hospitalised.

A heated exchange is said to have taken place on Wednesday after a foul during a training session.
Another incident on Thursday was reportedly worse, with Valverde refusing to shake Tchouameni’s hand after their altercation.
eSPORTY understands that after continuing their row, the Uruguay international needed urgent medical attention.
Valverde was diagnosed with cranioencephalic trauma, a head injury, and is out for the next two weeks.
However, he said that his injury was caused by him hitting a table, and, ‘At no point did my teammate hit me, I didn’t hit him either.’
Statement
Madrid announced that they had opened disciplinary proceedings against the players, and have now given them financial penalties.
A statement read: “Real Madrid C. F. announces that, following the events that led to the disciplinary proceedings initiated yesterday against our players Federico Valverde and Aurelien Tchouameni, both appeared today before the investigator assigned to the case.
“During their appearance, the players expressed their complete remorse for what happened and apologized to each other.
“Furthermore, they extended their apologies to the club, their teammates, the coaching staff, and the fans, and both have made themselves available to Real Madrid to accept whatever sanction the club deems appropriate.
“Under these circumstances, Real Madrid has decided to impose a financial penalty of €500,000 fines [£432k] on each player, thereby concluding the corresponding internal procedures.”

What is going on at Madrid?
The drama surrounding Valverde and Tchouameni is just the latest chapter in what has been a chaotic season at Madrid.
Xabi Alonso was supposed to spearhead the next era of success but left by mutual consent in January, seven months after joining.
Alvaro Arbeloa has been in the hotseat since then, and been unable to turn their fortunes around.
Madrid are set to go trophyless this season, and lose the LaLiga title to rivals Barcelona in El Clasico on Sunday evening.
Bayern Munich beat them in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, a competition that Los Blancos have won a record 15 times.
Defeat to Barca in the Supercopa de Espana final was then followed by a shock Copa del Rey last 16 exit to second-tier side Albacete.

A lack of silverware aside, there is also concern over the future of Kylian Mbappe amid claims of dressing room isolation.
Madrid fans and employees were reportedly ‘displeased’ with him for going on holiday to Italy whilst recovering from a hamstring injury.
There is also an online petition calling for him to leave the club which, at the time of writing, has hit 50 million signatures.
Mbappe is also said to have been involved in a flare-up with one of the Madrid coaches, during which he insulted them.
A statement from his camp read: “Part of the criticisms are based on an over-interpretation of elements related to a recovery period strictly supervised by the club.
“This is NOT corresponding to the reality of the commitment and the work that Kylian does daily for the good of the team.”
