The UN says around 40,000 Palestinians have been internally displaced in the occupied West Bank since the start of 2025 due to Israeli army and settler violence.
Farhan Haq, deputy spokesperson for the UN secretary-general, said in a statement on Friday that at least 42 people, including 12 children, were displaced due to home demolitions from Israeli settlers in the first week of May alone.
