Arsenal travel to the London Stadium on Saturday afternoon as they look to take a step closer to the Premier League title.
Arsenal face what could be a key game in the race for the Premier League title this weekend. The Gunners travel to take on West Ham at the London Stadium on Sunday afternoon (4.30pm kick-off).
Before then, they will be keeping a close eye on how second-placed Manchester City get on against Brentford on Saturday afternoon (3pm kick-off).
Going into the weekend’s fixtures, Arsenal are five points clear of City at the top of the table. City do, however, have a game in hand.
The lead means that Arsenal have their fate in their own hands, and know that wins in each of their last three league games will seal a first Premier League title in 23 years.

West Ham, meanwhile, are fighting for their Premier League lives. Recent results leave them in 18th place in the table. But they are just one point adrift of Tottenham as the fight for survival heats up.

For Arsenal, Mikel Arteta confirmed that both full-back Jurrien Timber and Mikel Merino will be unavailable for the game. Both are also big doubts to feature before the end of the season.
Timber has missed the last 11 games thanks to an ankle injury, while Merino is recovering after undergoing surgery on a fractured foot. Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Arteta said : “No chance for them this weekend.”
On whether the due will return before the end of the campaign, he said: “I don’t know, there’s still a fair bit to do, so everything has to be so smooth and quick if they want to have a chance to play any minutes.”
West Ham
Nuno Espirito Santo has confirmed that his squad have a clean bill of health ahead of the match at the London Stadium. “Everybody is ok, which is good for us that everybody’s healthy,” he said in his pre-match press conference.
It means that the Hammers boss has some selection decisions to make. There have been calls for striker Callum Wilson to start up front.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Jean-Clair Todibo are also pushing for starts.
