Barcola a new target

Arsenal are showing a strong interest in PSG winger Bradley Barcola, according to Sky Germany.

The Gunners are one of numerous top clubs looking for a marquee winger this summer, with Barcelona and Liverpool also exploring a deal for the France international. Arsenal, though, appear to be particularly keen and have already held discussions with his camp.

Barcola has been unhappy with his game time at PSG since Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, another Arsenal target, joined the club in January 2025. He has to date refused to sign a new contract, and a summer transfer is now viewed as distinctly possible.

Bayern in active Gordon talks

Bayern Munich are in concrete negotiations over a potential deal for Newcastle winger Anthony Gordon, Sky Sports has confirmed.

There is a “real chance” of the England ace leaving the Magpies this summer, and Bayern are in active talks to sign him. Arsenal have also shown an interest in Gordon, but the Bundesliga champions currently lead the race.

Reports in Germany have corroborated that Newcastle are demanding as much as €90m, which is a fee Bayern are not willing to pay for a player who would not immediately be a guaranteed starter. Sources believe that his final price tag will be €75m-€85m.

Havertz has no intention to leave

Kai Havertz is already thinking about next season at Arsenal and has no intention of leaving the club, despite links to Bayern Munich.

Christian Falk reports that Havertz “would like to play” for the Bundesliga giants at some point in the future, but he’s not currently a subject at the Allianz Arena before the summer.

The Germany international attacker has spent much of the season injured, restricting him to 20 appearances for the Gunners.

Arsenal plan Wesley approach

Arsenal are set to make an approach for AS Roma right-back Wesley Franca, as per Calciomercato.

The Brazil international is being watched by a host of elite clubs after an outstanding first season in Serie A. Roma are convinced that he is already worth more than double the €25 million they paid for him.

Arsenal are in the market for a new right-back due to Ben White’s uncertain future. Though he has played a lot lately due to Jurrien Timber’s injury, it is believed that he could be heading for the exit after slipping behind the Dutchman in the pecking order.

Fresh Reijnders links

Arsenal are again being linked with Man City midfielder Tijjani Reijnders, this time by CaughtOffside.

It was recently suggested that the Gunners could plot a move for the Dutchman, who has fallen out of favour following a promising start to life at the Etihad last summer.

It is now claimed that Arsenal have been alerted to the possibility that Reijnders could become available. However, neither Man City nor the player has made a decision on a transfer at this stage. Reijnders cost €55m 12 months ago, so he would not come cheap.
