Arsenal have reached the Champions League final and have a five-point lead at the top of the Premier League
Arsenal are reportedly on the verge of becoming the richest club in English football following their success this season. The Gunners recently booked their place in the Champions League final, where they will face Paris Saint-Germain in Budapest later this month.
Mikel Arteta’s side defeated Atletico Madrid in their semi-final tie, claiming a 2-1 aggregate victory to secure their place in the final, which will be played in Hungary on May 30.
On top of that, Arsenal are also battling to win the Premier League title and are the favourites to be crowned champions thanks to their five-point lead over Manchester City.
The Gunners have just three Premier League fixtures left to play this season, which will see them face West Ham, Burnley and Crystal Palace before the end of the campaign.

Sky Sports have reported that Arsenal are on course to overtake Liverpool and Manchester City to become the richest club in English football, thanks to their performances on the pitch this term.
It has been reported that Arsenal will be expected to see their commercial revenue, broadcast revenue and TV money increase for their accounts for the 2025/26 season.
Arsenal recorded commercial revenue of £263millon last season, as well as a further £213million in TV revenue and £154million in matchday revenue.
Thanks to Arsenal reaching the Champions League final, the Gunners will be expected to receive more prize money this term after improving on their semi-final finish from last season.

Arsenal reportedly received £101million for their efforts in the Champions League last season, and have already seen that increase to £122million for this term. There is the potential for that to increase by a further £10million if the Gunners were to beat PSG in the final in Budapest.
If Arsenal were to be crowned Premier League champions, this would also see their overall revenue from the top flight increase compared to the money they received for finishing second last term.

Arteta spoke about the progress Arsenal have made under his leadership in recent years after guiding the club to the Champions League final with the victory over Atletico on Tuesday night.

“We put so much work, passion and belief into what we do and today we got awarded to have an incredible day in Budapest in a few weeks.”
