The United Arab Emirates has condemned Iran’s attack on a tanker from the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) attempting to cross through the Strait of Hormuz, according to AFP.
Two drones were reported to have targeted the ship.
“Targeting commercial shipping and using the Strait of Hormuz as a tool of economic coercion or blackmail represents acts of piracy by Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps,” the foreign ministry said, adding there were no injuries.
