Manchester City have handed Arsenal a huge Premier League title boost after drawing at Everton on Monday evening
Arsenal’s Premier League title race destiny is now in their own hands even after Manchester City scored two late goals to draw 3-3 at Everton. The Gunners’ 3-0 win over Fulham on Saturday saw the gap extend to six points and Pep Guardiola’s side were just able to respond with a draw.
Jeremy Doku opened the scoring in the first half but City conceded three times in 13 minutes to leave their title race hopes hanging by a thread.
A Thierno Barry brace and Jake O’Brien header put them 3-1 down and though Erling Haaland immediately pulled one back, it was not enough to stop City from dropping points.
Doku then scored again with virtually the last kick of the game to move City up to 71 points but five behind leaders Arsenal.

If Arsenal win all of their remaining games, Mikel Arteta’s side will be crowned champions even if City claim maximum points from their four matches left on the calendar.
West Ham United, Burnley and Crystal Palace are the teams Arsenal have left to play while City face Brentford, Crystal Palace, Bournemouth and Aston Villa.
Both Arteta and Guardiola also have their eyes on knockout competitions with City to face Chelsea in the FA Cup final later this month.
Arsenal meanwhile, have their eyes firmly on Tuesday’s Champions League semi-final second leg against Atletico Madrid.
It is 1-1 from the first leg in Spain with the north Londoners facing one of Bayern Munich or Paris Saint-Germain in the final in Budapest.
Their first leg finished 5-4 in favour of PSG with the return fixture at Allianz Arena set for Wednesday evening.
