The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) said it received a report of a “suspicious approach” 84 nautical miles southwest of Yemen’s al-Mukalla.
In a social media post, it advised vessels to to transit with caution and report any suspicious activity to UKMTO while authorities continue to investigate”.
