UAE presidential adviser Anwar Gargash has warned that Iran cannot be relied upon to guarantee safe navigation through the Strait of Hormuz.
In a post on X on Friday, Gargash said no unilateral arrangements led by Iran could be trusted to secure freedom of passage, following what he described as Tehran’s “treacherous aggression” against neighbouring states.
