Iranian Deputy Parliament Speaker Ali Nikzad stated that the “The Strait of Hormuz is not an international waterway, it is Iran’s natural right,” according to comments made to Iran’s Tasnim news agency, as reported by Al Jazeera.
This comes after Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian referred to the American naval blockade on the Strait as “intolerable.”
