Super Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala has disclosed that Bayern Munich would have struggled to make the semi-final of the Champions League without goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.
She made this known on the backdrop of Bayern Munich’s 4-5 loss to the Paris Saint-Germain in Tuesday’s first leg of the competition.

Despite the excitement surrounding the contest, much of the spotlight afterward fell on Neuer, who endured a difficult evening in goal for Bayern.
Despite Neuer conceding five goals without a save during the match, Oshoala took to her official X handle, to support the veteran goalkeeper, calling it “just one of those nights”.
