Rachel Kerr, 31, was last seen at SMART Nightclub in Agadir, Morocco, hours after checking out of a nearby hotel – her family say they are ‘very concerned for her welfare’
A British travel influencer who went missing on a night out in Morocco was last spotted leaving a nightclub in Morocco known for drink spiking, it has emerged.
Rachel Kerr, 31, has not been seen since leaving SMART Nightclub in the coastal resort of Agadir at around 5am last Saturday. Her mobile has remained switched off ever since, and relatives have not heard from her.
Hours before she vanished, the content creator from Dunblane had checked out of the Carribbean Village hotel after reportedly running out of funds.
Writing on social media, her cousin Claire Hill said yesterday: “We’re very concerned for her welfare and are appealing for any information on her whereabouts or who she might be in contact with out there.”

“Please get in touch if you have any information.”
She added that Scottish police have been informed, and that relatives are making their way to Agadir to support the search effort.
Friend Alexis Shaw meanwhile shared that had originally been scheduled to fly back home to Scotland a fortnight earlier but decided to prolong her time in Agadir as she was “in a bad mental place”.
Rachel had run out of money on the Friday, she said, and checked out of the Caribbean Village hotel before going to the SMART nightclub at the Hotel Agador, located less than a mile away.
One tourist with knowledge of the area who recently visited the same nightclub she was seen at wrote online that it has a “reputation for drink spiking”, while another said it was not a “good place for a young person”.
Until her recent disappearance, Rachel regularly shared videos of herself travelling around the world and promoted a WhatsApp group offering guided tours. She had also done some modelling work.
After arriving in Agadir, she wrote: “What a life to be able to wander about and explore places on our planet, meet new people and learn new things.”
Her last post on her Instagram account came two weeks ago, and was captioned “la marinaaaa”. Another post a few days earlier showed a video filmed around Agadir, and advertised a 10-day tour of the city scheduled for October.
A Foreign Office spokesperson said: “We are supporting the family of a British woman who is missing in Morocco.”
