Arsenal were recently linked with a mega-money swoop for PSG attacker Khvicha Kvaratskhelia
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s father, Badri, revealed his son is “very happy in Paris” amid transfer links with Arsenal.
The Georgian superstar, who has become the heartbeat of Luis Enrique’s star-studded Champions League-winning side, only joined PSG from Napoli in January 2025.
Since then, he’s kicked on to become one of the best players in world football. Despite speculation over his future, it looks as though he’ll be staying put this summer.
Badri Kvaratskhelia told Kviris Palitra: “Khvicha leaving PSG? He’s not thinking about that. He’s happy in Paris, where he is highly valued and respected by the club.

“Why should he think about moving elsewhere when he is winning titles with the team and is one of PSG’s key players?
“If PSG no longer wishes to continue the cooperation, we will consider options, but for now, this is not being discussed.”
Liverpool and Chelsea were interested in ‘Kvara’ before he departed Napoli for PSG in a deal worth £59million plus bonuses.
The 25-year-old has scored 16 goals, including eight in the Champions League, and registered nine assists in all competitions so far this season.
He has frequently said on record that he is happy and settled in Paris, stating ahead of tonight’s blockbuster semi-final against Bayern Munich: “Our style of play is difficult for others to understand. The goal is to attack and defend.
“He [Luis Enrique] gives us a lot of freedom, and that’s crucial for attacking players. I’m very happy with our coach and proud of the choice I made in coming here.”
Arsenal are interested in signing a new left-winger this summer but ‘Kvara’ appears to be off the table at this moment in time.
The Gunners are, however, admirers of his PSG team-mate Bradley Barcola. Given the French champions are also courting RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomande, there is a chance Barcola could become available this summer.
The slick dribbler is currently in talks with PSG chiefs over a new contract as his current deal expires in the summer of 2028.
Liverpool are also thought to be tracking Barcola as they too are keen to sign another winger at the end of the season when Mohamed Salah will depart Anfield following nine memorable years on Merseyside.
Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard’s futures are both in doubt and Eberechi Eze has recently been starting matches for Arsenal on the left flank.
