The daughter of NRL great Mark Carroll has fulfilled her dreams of making an NFL cheerleading squad.
Indianna Carroll, who had been cheering for the Manly Sea Eagles’ Seabirds for 10 years, was shortlisted for the final round for the Las Vegas Raiderettes ahead of the upcoming season.
Carroll posted on her Instagram on Friday confirming that she would be competing in the last stage.
And according to a post by her Instagram story and her father Mark, she has been successful in making the team.
The news comes just a year after she fell agonisingly short of making the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader squad last year.
Despite coming up short in Texas last year, Indianna refused to let that deter her and has bounced back with the big news this week.

It comes a year after she narrowly missed out on the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleading squad
In a post on her Instagram story it appears she confirmed her place on the team
Indianna’s initial Instagram post on Friday was captioned, ‘She’s back, still dream chasing.
‘I felt like I owed it to myself to keep going, to follow the quiet pull and see where the wind might carry me. So here I am.
‘I guess the uncertainty is part of the price, but so is the privilege of chasing something I love this fiercely.
‘I really believe there is something so special about loving something enough to take the risk.
I’m still so moved by the support and belief that continues to surround my journey. Knowing I have an army of love, guidance & faith beside me fills my heart with immense pride and gratitude.
‘Every message, every kind word, every piece of encouragement means more than I can say. Thank you for believing in me and my dream.’
That was followed up on her Instagram story today in a video of herself outside, simply captioned ‘yep’ adorned with a love heart and Australian flag emoji.
Mark Caroll provided even more confirmation on his Facebook with a heartfelt congratulations to his daughter
And any ambiguity in the result has seemingly been removed by the former Manly Sea Eagles star who took to Facebook confirming the success.
‘I couldn’t be prouder writing this about my beautiful daughter Indianna,’ he wrote.
‘As a young child her dream was always to cheer for an NFL side and I’m here to announce she has made the squad for the NFL Raiders.
‘Looking back in years the adversity she has had to get [through] blows my mind. The Dallas Cowboys have missed a beauty here.
‘As a young girl to be crippled with the most horrible [disease] endometriosis, and is now going to be on the big stage of American NFL played on the TV to millions and millions of people each game. Look out team.
‘My Girl Indianna is about to blow you away Australian style.
‘Also a massive shout out to my beautiful wife Monique who has taught Indianna. And has been by her side with the ups and downs in life.
‘Today is a massive highlight for her. What a mother. Proud.’Â
