Diomande open to Liverpool move

RB Leipzig wonderkid Yan Diomande is ready to agree terms with Liverpool, TEAMtalk claims.

The Ivorian is being chased by numerous elite clubs, including Arsenal and PSG. Liverpool, though, are pushing the hardest for his signature. Diomande previously claimed that the Reds are his favourite club, but later backpedalled and claimed that they are his father’s team.

Leipzig want at least €100 million for the 19-year-old, but they will be under no pressure to sell if they qualify for the Champions League. As a result, they are ready to offer Diomande a new contract with an improved salary in order to keep him for one more year.

Diomande, for his part, is open to a transfer. Personal terms between the young attacker and Liverpool would not pose an issue.

Estadio Deportivo has confirmed that Arsenal are among the clubs interested in Celta Vigo full-back Oscar Mingueza.

The former Barcelona prospect has been linked with a Premier League move for years and now looks poised to get his big move after running down his contract in Galicia. One of LaLiga’s best right-backs, Mingueza is a massive market opportunity.

Arsenal, Aston Villa and more clubs are interested in signing him on a Bosman. The Gunners are known to be in the market for a new right-back amid the uncertainty surrounding Ben White’s future.

Tchouameni to Man Utd picking up steam

Man Utd’s interest in Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni has been corroborated by Ben Jacobs and Sky Sports.

The Red Devils need replacements for Casemiro and Manuel Ugarte, with the latter likely to be sold. Tchouameni is being eyed as one of several options. It has been claimed that Real Madrid could sell to raise funds for incoming signings.

However, it has now been added that a potential new contract for Tchouameni can’t be discounted. The 26-year-old is not desperate to leave, though he wants to understand his role in Real Madrid’s midfield revamp. Should he leave, he is likely to cost in excess of €75m.

Man Utd also interested in Rios

In addition to Tchouameni, Man Utd are also being linked with a move for Benfica star Daniel Rios by CaughtOffside.

The Colombia international is “highly unlikely” to remain in Lisbon this summer, and Man Utd are known to be long-standing admirers, dating back to Rios’ time at Palmeiras.

Fulham and Napoli are also in the mix to sign the combative midfielder. Benfica are said to value him at around €45m, making him a fairly affordable option compared to Man Utd’s top targets.

Juventus dream of Alisson

Juventus view Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson as a “dream target,” Fabrizio Romano reports.

The Brazilian shot-stopper has been linked with a move to Turin for several weeks, and Romano substantiates that the idea of returning to Serie A appeals to the former AS Roma star.

However, the 33-year-old wants to be respectful of Liverpool, where he is still under contract until next year. Discussions between Alisson, the club and current No.2 Giorgio Marmadashvili are scheduled for the “next weeks” to draw up a plan for the summer and beyond.
