Chelsea and Man Utd want Scott
Chelsea and Man Utd are interested in Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott, CaughtOffside claims.
The 22-year-old has been one of the Cherries’ standout performers this season, which has unsurprisingly seen him attract widespread attention. A transfer is not yet guaranteed, but Bournemouth would sell for a fee in the region of €60 million.
Chelsea and Man Utd are both in the market for a midfielder and have been monitoring Scott’s excellent progress. Both could place a bid for Scott if they firm up their interest.
Bournemouth are certainly bracing themselves for the eventuality of Scott leaving. FootballTransfers contributor Steve Kay understands that they are among the clubs that have made contact with Bayern Munich midfielder Noel Aseko, who is currently playing for Hannover 96 in the 2. Bundesliga.
Adeyemi and girlfriend discuss future
Borussia Dortmund winger Karim Adeyemi and his girlfriend, rapper Loredana, have discussed his future on a Twitch stream amid reports that he is a top target for Man Utd.
The Germany international is out of contract in 2027, and there has yet to be a breakthrough in negotiations with BVB. As a result, it is believed that a summer sale is increasingly likely. However, Adeyemi and his girlfriend insist that they are content in Dortmund.
“He had many opportunities to switch clubs, but Karim is simply a loyal person,” Loredana said, before responding to persistent rumours that she wants to move to a nicer place.
“Dortmund isn’t the most beautiful city. We don’t need to lie to anyone and say it’s amazing to live here. Sure, there are more beautiful places. But that doesn’t matter to me at all.”
She added: “He always says, ‘If I ever leave Dortmund, it will be with gratitude.’ He wants to feel that he truly gave everything for this team. His dream is to win the Bundesliga with Dortmund. He desperately wants that.”
Adeyemi himself said: “Things can change, but I have to say that I feel comfortable where I am right now.”
Man Utd to bid for Conceicao
Man Utd are expected to place a €40 million bid for Palmeiras wonderkid Eduardo Conceicao, as per UOL and the Daily Mail.
The teenager has yet to make his senior debut for the Brazilian giants, but numerous European giants are already fighting for his signature. He is being billed as the next Estevao and has a €100m release clause.
Man Utd have “promised” to make a bid for Conceicao. Palmeiras have already turned down offers worth €35m and €25m plus €15m in add-ons from other clubs.
Man Utd in for Koopmeiners?
Man Utd could make a move for Juventus midfielder Teun Koopmeiners, TuttoSport states.
The Netherlands international was the Bianconeri’s marquee signing in the summer of 2024, but he has proved to be a hugely disappointing signing. It is believed that a parting of ways is inevitable this summer.
Koopmeiners’ agent met with Juve chiefs on Monday to discuss his client’s future. Man Utd and Galatasaray are “willing to take a gamble” on the 28-year-old, the report claims. A fee of more than €30m is necessary for the Old Lady to avoid making a book loss on the €54.7m signing.
