Man Utd attentive to Romero situation
Man Utd are keeping tabs on Cristian Romero’s situation at Tottenham, CaughtOffside claims.
The Spurs captain is expected to be on the move this summer, regardless of whether or not the North London giants stay in the Premier League. Fabrizio Romano recently reported that all parties are aligned that it would be best to part ways this summer.
It is now claimed that Man Utd are among the clubs monitoring Romero, who is also fielding strong interest from the Madrid clubs, especially Atletico. The Red Devils view the Argentine, who is set to cost up to €65 million, as an “attractive option.”
Sadiki price set
Sunderland will only sell Noah Sadiki if they receive a fee in the region of €70m this summer, as per TEAMtalk.
The Congo DR international is fielding interest from Man Utd and Chelsea, with the latter recently holding fresh talks over a potential deal. The Old Trafford club, meanwhile, have been following Sadiki since his time at Union St. Gilloise.
Sunderland are hopeful that they will be able to keep their squad together this summer. Sadiki could even be in line for a lucrative new transfer in a bid to convince him to stay.
Tchouameni shortlisted
Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni features prominently on Man Utd’s shortlist of potential Casemiro replacements, The Telegraph reports.
Real Madrid could be willing to listen to offers for the France international if their top midfield targets become available. Florentino Perez wants to sign Man City star Rodri, while Chelsea vice-captain Enzo Fernandez has also been flirting with a move to Spain.
Both would require a significant outlay, and Real Madrid would likely have to sell to buy. Man Utd could look to exploit this by making a move for Tchouameni.
Adeyemi a top target?
Borussia Dortmund winger Karim Adeyemi is Man Utd’s top winger target this summer, fussballdaten asserts.
The Germany international is likely to leave the Bundesliga giants this summer. Talks over a new contract have been stalling for months, which means that Adeyemi will likely be sold to prevent the possibility of him running down his deal and leaving for nothing next year.
Man Utd are known to be in the market for a left-winger and have put the 24-year-old at the top of their summer shortlist. They are particularly impressed by his rapid pace, which they believe will make him a real threat in the Premier League.
Man Utd scouts love Kroupi
Man Utd scouts have become enamoured with Bournemouth sensation Eli Kroupi, according to TEAMtalk.
Representatives from the club watched him in the flesh against Newcastle at the weekend, while they also made sure to pay close attention to other potential targets like Alex Scott, Marcus Tavernier, Sandro Tonali, Lewis Hall and Bruno Guimaraes.
