Chelsea were linked with a move for the Brazil star earlier this year, with speculation continuing to grow around his Real Madrid future
Chelsea reportedly have no interest in signing Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior after his agent toured ‘all of Europe’ in search of a prospective move away from the Bernabeu. The Brazilian’s current deal expires in the summer of 2027, and Los Blancos are said to be prepared to sell him at the end of the season should he decide against committing his long‑term future to the club.
Earlier this year, Brazilian journalist Leonardo Bertozzi told El Desmarque that Chelsea were preparing a stunning £138million bid – a fee that would have represented a British record. “The Chelsea offer, for now, is just speculation,” Bertozzi said at the time.
“It’s clear that the longer Vinicius waits to renew, the more talk there will be about his future because he only has 18 months left on his contract. The most logical thing if he doesn’t sign is for him to be sold this year because Real Madrid wouldn’t let him reach the end of his contract and leave for free.”
However, a new claim from France has dismissed the possibility of Chelsea pursuing the winger.
According to French reporter Romain Molina (via Get Football News France) Vinicius’ agent has attempted to offer the forward to several clubs ‘to no avail’, with ‘no club considering’ a move for the 25‑year‑old this summer. He adds that even a club ‘as spendthrift as Chelsea’ currently have no interest in signing him.

Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior faces a significant summer rebuild if he is to guide the club back to winning ways. Their transfer plans will be shaped accordingly, with sporting directors Laurence Stewart and Paul Winstanley set to lead the recruitment drive.
Rosenior confirmed ‘great conversations’ are already underway. “We’re having really detailed conversations now about the areas that we want to strengthen,” he said.
“I’ve had great conversations about what I think we need. We’re very aligned, actually, in terms of where we want to strengthen and how we go about that, which is very exciting.
