Footage emerges of Donald Trump gushing over 'beautiful' male UFC fighter during Miami event

Donald Trump was heard telling a top UFC star he is ‘too good looking to be a fighter’ after attending Saturday’s event in Miami.

The president sparked fury by heading to Kaseya Center for UFC 327 amid crumbling Iran peace talks, with discussions between the two nations ending Sunday after 21 hours without a deal.

As he soaked up the action from the very front row, at one stage Trump walked up to the Octagon to congratulate Brazilian fighter Paulo Costa on his knockout victory over Azamat Murzakanov.

And in a video circulating on social media, he is captured gushing over Costa’s good looks.

After the light heavyweight talent thanked him for ‘doing what you’re doing’, Trump responded: ‘You’re a beautiful guy. Great fight.’

Costa then joked about taking up modeling once his MMA career is over, before Trump told him: ‘You could be a model, you look so good. You’re too good looking to be a fighter!’

He then added before they went their separate ways: ‘You are some fighter.’

When asked about the exchange at his post-fight press conference, Costa said: ‘That was funny. Thank you Mr. Trump.’

Trump took time to attend the UFC’s latest show alongside daughters Tiffany and Ivanka, granddaughters Kai and Arabella Rose, Secretary of State Rubio and the MMA promotion’s CEO Dana White.

The crowd reaction appeared to be largely positive judging from the Paramount+ broadcast, although the blaring Kid Rock entrance music made it difficult to hear if he was booed or cheered.

Not everyone was pleased to see Trump back in the UFC universe after Vice President JD Vance claimed talks with Iran had ended because negotiators had ‘chosen not to accept our terms.’

‘Does he know he started a war?’ one critic asked on X. ‘Time for UFC I guess?’

‘I mean the world is on fire,’ another added. ‘But hey let’s use some tax money to attend a UFC fight.’

Several critics kept it more succinct: ‘Hard at work for the American people.’
