As the pair have landed they have already been subject to a mixed reception.
One traveller on the same flight said: “It wasn’t until we got off the plane that we realised it was them.”
Another person aboard the same plane said the couple were beautiful people after having a quick chat with them. She added: “And we spoke about their children and that they were here for a couple of days.”
However one traveller told The Age: “I don’t like her (Meghan) at all.
“Don’t come here. You don’t belong here in Australia. We don’t want them here.”
