Young Tigers Football Academy Aim Far At GodDid Foundation Youth Cup

The coach and founder of Young Tigers Football Academy of Ikotun, Lagos, Taiwo Abiodun (aka Santos) has predicted that his team will go far in the upcoming GodDid Foundation Youth Cup, Sports247 reports.

With the contests scheduled to begin this weekend at Akesan Anglican Grammar School, off Iyana Iba-Igando Road, ‘Coach Santos’ boasted that his players are good enough to win the under-10 and under-13 categories of the competition.

He added in a chat with Sports247 that Young Tigers FA has a track record of excelling in major age-grade contests, which gives him optimism for a successful participation in the upcoming competition packaged by Coach Dammy and GodDid’s CEO.

The dreadlocks-wearing youthful coach, who still open dusts his boots to engage in leisure and entertainment games, with high hopes of attracting agents to take him abroad, reeled out the names of players he believes will help his team win the competition.

‘Santos’ revealed, “Young Tigers FA are fully prepared for the Goddid Foundation under-10 and under-13 tournaments coming up on the 21st of April at Angelican Primary School, Akesan.

“My team will be going far in this forthcoming summer tournament, because we have many young talented players to count on.

“Those in the under-10 category are Akintola Noah (Ronaldo), Adeyemo Israel (Cavalho), Mogaji Sultan (Ozil), Okoh Ebube (Kaka), Oyelumade David (Maguire) and Ogundero Samad (Yamal), who is the youngest mildfider in Alimosho.

“We also have great talented players in the under-13 category, like Taiwo Abdullahi (Messi), Temitayo Timileyin (Thiago), Ayoola Waris (Dembele), Adeniyi Isaiah (Marcelo), Felix James) and Adedeji kehinde (Kante).

“We also have our reliable goalkeeper Olalere Yusuf (Muller), who stopped three penalties in a row to help us win last year’s Hydra Cup at Community Primary School, Ikotun.”
