Shane Lowry has become the first golfer in history to get multiple holes-in-one at the Masters.
The beloved Irishman delighted the patrons at Augusta National on Saturday afternoon as aced the 190-yard, par-3 sixth hole early in his third round.
The moment sparked wild celebrations on the course and Lowry’s playing partner, Tommy Fleetwood, embraced his Ryder Cup teammate.
The shot was so good that even players on other holes paused and one bowed down to Lowry.
It was just the 35th time a hole-in-one has been scored at the Masters and now Lowry has two of them. Back in 2016, he also aced the par-3 16th.
Incredibly, it is also the seventh hole-in-one of Lowry’s career. He’s also aced the iconic 7th hole at Pebble Beach and 17th at TPC Sawgrass.
