Anderson deal expected

Nottingham Forest “expect” Elliot Anderson to join either Man Utd or Man City this summer, Sky Germany claims.

The two Manchester clubs are the clear favourites to sign the England star, but Forest won’t make life easy for his suitors. They are demanding as much as €138 million (£120m) for the midfielder.

So far, no club has held any concrete talks with Forest over Anderson. The Reds would ideally like to keep him, but this will prove incredibly difficult, particularly if they end up getting relegated.

Man Utd make Branthwaite decision

Man Utd have decided against making a move for Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite this summer, according to Football Insider.

The Red Devils hold a long-standing interest in the England centre-back, and they reportedly had a meeting with his camp in December, during which it was made clear that the player would be interested in a move.

However, with Branthwaite having struggled for fitness over the past two seasons, Man Utd have now decided to back away from a deal for the 23-year-old.

Casado on the market

Marc Casado has decided to leave Barcelona this summer, as per Sport.

The midfielder has tasked his agent Jorge Mendes with finding him a new club after struggling for minutes in recent months. Barcelona are in favour of a sale, too, as the 22-year-old would represent pure profit.

Last summer, Chelsea and Wolves approached the player, while Atletico Madrid and Man Utd enquired about him in January. There is also interest from other clubs in Europe and Saudi Arabia.

Sancho to Dortmund picking up steam

Borussia Dortmund are considering re-signing Man Utd outcast Jadon Sancho, CEO Lars Ricken has confirmed.

Sancho is one of the players they are currently “assessing” as they look for a low-cost, experienced attacker to replace the departing Julian Brandt. The former England winger will leave Man Utd on a free transfer after his Aston Villa loan.

Dortmund have been linked with Sancho for several weeks. It is believed that the 26-year-old is prepared to halve his salary in order to return to the club for a third spell.

Arsenal eye Ramon

Arsenal have identified Como centre-back Jacobo Ramon as a summer target, CaughtOffside states.

The Gunners are looking for a long-term replacement for Gabriel Magalhaes and are scouring the market for young defenders who could fill that role in the future.

Ramon and Real Madrid prospect Victor Valdepenas are two names currently under consideration. However, Real Madrid still control Ramon’s future via a buy-back option, and they also have a 50% sell-on clause, making a deal quite expensive.
