Former Netherlands star Rafael van der Vaart has criticized Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior’s diving antics in Los Blancos’ 2-1 loss to Bayern Munich in the first leg quarter-final of the Champions League.
Van der Vaart said that although he respected the young star’s talent on the pitch, some of his behavior during the match spoiled the enjoyment of the game.
Speaking with Ziggo Sport, the Dutch international described Vinicius as horrible.

“Vinicius is horrible.
“He annoys me to no end when I see him. I find it incredibly sad because he’s a fantastic player.
“But as soon as he gets a little push, he dives, hoping to see a red card for the opponent, and then gets up as if nothing happened.
“That’s the part I find sad about him.”
