Arsenal should pursue Kvaratskhelia
Former Arsenal defender Daniel Winterburn believes that the Gunners should jump at the chance to sign PSG winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia if the opportunity presents itself.
“I suppose you’d say that if Arsenal are looking at upgrading a position, then it would be on that left-hand side,” he told AceOdds. “That’s not hiding from the fact or saying that the other two aren’t good.
“Kvaratskhelia, boy oh boy, if he knocked on the door and said I want to come to Arsenal, I don’t think many people would say, ‘No, thank you.’ I think they’d be saying, ‘if we can afford you, come on in.'”
Arsenal lead Marques race
Arsenal are in pole position to sign Sao Paulo youngster Lucca Marques, as per BILD.
The 18-year-old has been making a name for himself over the past 12 months and is attracting widespread European interest. Borussia Dortmund are also being heavily linked with the young winger.
However, it is believed that Arsenal have done the most work on a potential deal for the Brazil youth international, though it remains to be seen whether they will finalise the deal.

Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has reiterated that he is growing tired of the ongoing Julian Alvarez transfer saga.
Speaking ahead of his side’s Champions League clash with Barcelona, Cerezo offered a cryptic response when yet again quizzed about the Arsenal target.
“Can you guarantee you won’t die by the end of the year? If a player has a contract with a team and many years left on it, tell me what could possibly happen? I’ll tell you succinctly: Julian has a contract.”

The Gunners are exploring the market for young defenders and have taken a liking to the Spain youth international, as well as Real Madrid prospect Victor Valdepenas. Ramon has been starring in Serie A this season and has also been linked with Chelsea.
However, Real Madrid control his future via a buy-back option, while they also boast a 50% sell on-clause. Signing him could therefore prove difficult and expensive.
