Thierry Henry earns a weekly wage of around £95,000, despite having hung up his boots in 2014.
It has been more than a decade since the footballing icon retired from professional play and stepped away from the pitch. The 48-year-old is considered amongst the greatest players in history and arguably the finest to have graced the Premier League.
A lethal forward, he became Arsenal’s record goal scorer with 228 finishes across all competitions, claiming an unprecedented four Golden Boots in England’s top division alongside two league championships and three FA Cups.
Henry also turned out for Monaco, Juventus and Barcelona – securing a historic treble with the Catalan club in 2009 – before concluding his playing days in the United States with New York Red Bulls. At international level, he lifted the 1998 World Cup, Euro 2000 and the 2003 Confederations Cup with France, and remains his nation’s third-highest marksman with 51 goals across 123 caps.
While more than 11 years have passed since his final professional appearance, the Frenchman continues to be deeply engaged with football, having transitioned into coaching soon after hanging up his boots. His managerial journey has seen him oversee former club Monaco as well as MLS outfit Montreal Impact, while he also occupied positions with Arsenal’s youth setup and Belgium.
His latest appointment saw him lead France U21s and the nation’s Olympic squad, though he departed the position following the Paris Games in 2024. These days, Henry is a familiar face in broadcasting, regularly lending his expertise to the likes of CBS, Amazon Prime, Fox and Sky Sports.
And despite having hung up his boots, he remains one of football’s most recognisable and commercially sought-after personalities. Having memorably starred in Renault’s iconic ‘Va-Va-Voom’ campaign during his playing career, Henry continues to command an impressive portfolio of sponsorship deals with major brands including Kia, Reebok, Don Julio, Ninja and Lays.

And while he has been out of the game for some years, it has come to light that the Arsenal legend is pocketing a weekly salary that puts him on a par with some current Premier League players, with newly published accounts from his company Cluemere Ltd laying bare his considerable earnings.
The most recent figures reveal that Henry has drawn a dividend of £2,774,312 and supplemented his income with an advance of £2,160,386, amounting to a weekly income of nearly £95,000. His company also holds assets of £931,781, including £833,290 in cash, according to the published accounts.
Beyond his punditry commitments and commercial partnerships, Henry boasts an extensive property portfolio, which includes a £10 million mansion in Hampstead and a £12 million penthouse in New York.
He is also a co-owner of Italian outfit Como, managed by his former Arsenal colleague Cesc Fabregas, who currently sit fourth in Serie A, ahead of the likes of Juventus and Roma.
Henry has been with his partner, Bosnian former model Andrea Rajacic, for approximately 15 years, with the couple largely choosing to keep their private life away from the limelight.
The couple share three children together — Tristan, Tatiana, and Gabby — while the Premier League icon also has a daughter with his former wife, British actress and model Nicole Merry.
