Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green was lured into a new TBS prank show with nearly disastrous – and fairly predictable – consequences.
A winner of four NBA titles and NBA Defensive Player of the Year honors during his ongoing 14-year career, Green is better known for his fiery temper, frequent suspensions, and a habit of punching rivals in the groin – incidents he’s claimed were unintentional.
Naturally, Green’s notorious rage was on full display during a short scene from TBS’ new prank show, ‘Foul Play with Anthony Davis,’ where the unsuspecting 6ft6 forward appeared ready for a fight.
The show’s premise is a fairly straightforward recreation of Candid Camera, only with some added synergy: Producer Rich Paul happens to be the NBA agent representing Davis, Green and guest star LeBron James.
And it was in his role as Green’s agent that Paul ostensibly brought the Warriors veteran to a business meeting centering on mall psychics. But when Green balked at the initial $100 million investment price, things quickly went awry.
‘I was never gonna send you all $100 million,’ a defiant Green told the cast with his arms crossed. ‘$100 million cash? Absolutely not. Who is just sitting on a $100 million cash?’

When the cast of actors responded in near unison that many investors have that sum, Green quickly snapped: ‘Well you should find them.’
One of the performers raised the stakes by beginning to yell at Green, who took offense.
‘Number one, y’all should stop yelling,’ he said. ‘I’m a grown-ass man.’
The bit soon crescendoed with Green threatening violence as Davis and James laughed away while watching on a monitor in an adjacent room.
‘I’m going to leave here,’ a clearly ticked-off Green said. ‘Because I will f*** you up. For sure.’
He threatened to punch one man ‘in the f***ing nose’ before another actor referenced Green’s notoriously dirty play.
‘You can’t punch us all in the d***,’ the actor said.

But before any punches could get thrown, the Wizards’ Davis and Lakers’ James rushed onto the set to share a laugh and a hug with a relieved Green.
‘Hey,’ Davis said as he grabbed Green, ‘you just got played.’
That apparently must be the show’s catch phrase because it was repeated by Green soon thereafter.
‘I am Draymond Green and I just got played,’ the 36-year-old told the camera.
Green currently ranks second in NBA history in ejections behind only Rasheed Wallace.
His Warriors are currently 36-42 and looking at a play-in tournament bid if they’re going to reach the NBA playoffs. James’ Lakers are currently in fourth in the West at 50-28 with Davis’ Wizards sitting in dead last in the East at 17-61.
