Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold tied the knot this weekend to his longtime partner and was joined by a fellow signal caller and his wife who just welcomed a baby.
Darnold exchanged vows with Katie Hoofnagle on Friday, April 3 in a ceremony attended by many NFL stars.
One of those stars was Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, who attended with his movie star wife Hailee Steinfeld just a day after they announced the arrival of their first child.
‘Hailee and Josh were so sweet on the dance floor, clearly having a blast,’ a source exclusively told People.
The couple announced the birth of their child, a girl, in a post to Steinfeld’s Substack on April 2.
‘People were politely congratulating them on their baby girl, and they were very kind,’ the outlet reported.

The source also claimed that ‘new dad’ Allen – as well as Darnold’s teammates – helped the bride and groom complete some ‘crowd surfing for quite a bit of the night.’
People reported that NFL stars in attendance included San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey and his wife, Olivia Culpo. Seahawks wideout Cooper Kupp also was there with wife Anna Marie while Niners pass catcher Christian Kirk also attended.
It’s a surprise that Steinfeld and Allen attended considering their newborn, but they were warmly welcomed after the announcement came via the Substack post titled ‘Special Delivery.’
‘Our baby girl has arrived!!’ Steinfeld wrote on April 2. ‘We’re feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savouring these early moments. Thank you so much for the love and well wishes.’
Allen told the Associated Press in December that he was ‘overjoyed, absolutely overjoyed’ over the prospect of becoming a father.
He also expressed his excitement to raise the child in Buffalo: ‘I consider this place my home. It’s where I’ve done a lot of growing up. And it’s a place that I’ll raise a family. It’s really cool.’
