San Francisco 49ers star's wife exposes his 'weird' offseason habits… including eating baking soda on vacation

The NFL offseason is typically intended for players to break free from their rigorous routines, eat whatever they please and enjoy some well-earned rest.

However, not all stars adopt that mentality.

The wife of San Francisco 49ers star Kyle Juszczyk has proved that to be true after exposing his bizarre offseason habits in a hilarious video which has since gone viral.

Kristin Juszczyk took to TikTok on Saturday to share a compilation of the ‘weird’ and wonderful things that her fullback husband got up to during their vacation.

In the video, the 49ers star was seen adding a considerable amount of salt into his glass of water, with Kristin revealing that he was doing it ‘constantly’.

Meanwhile, while out on a fishing trip, Juszczyk was also seen eating an entire tablespoon of baking soda, which his wife revealed he had packed for the vacation.

This particular habit sparked plenty of discussion in the comment section of the video, with one fan asking: ‘What does the baking soda do?!’

Kristin replied: ‘Nobody knows lol’.

Elsewhere, Juszczyk was also seen laying out ‘a million’ supplements, in the words of his wife. While it evidently wasn’t a million, he certainly did have plenty to consume.

The 49ers star was also seen performing some stretches in the video, which Kristin admitted he was doing ‘constantly’ throughout their trip.

In the comment section, another fan wrote: ‘I want to be as healthy as him’.

Kristin responded: ‘It starts with 100 squats a day’.

The 34-year-old re-signed with the 49ers in March 2025, agreeing to a two-year deal worth $8million in total.

During the 2025 season, he featured in all 17 regular season games for the 49ers where he recorded 24 receptions for 213 yards and two touchdowns.

In December, he was selected to the 2026 Pro Bowl Games, earning his 10th career Pro Bowl selection and extending his record for most Pro Bowl selections for a fullback.
