Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James delivered the ultimate parental scolding on Sunday when he gave his son Bronny an earful mid-game.
The father-son duo took to the court alongside one another during the Lakers’ shock 134-128 defeat to the Dallas Mavericks.
Yet, Bronny, the eldest son of the NBA legend, found himself on the end of a humiliating dressing down from his father following a simple passing mistake.
Late in the third quarter of the clash, Bronny, 21, attempted to send a high chest pass to his teammate and dad, only to have the ball knocked out of bounds by a Mavericks defender.
LeBron, 41, didn’t hesitate to let his son know what he made of the failed pass as he was caught immediately scolding Bronny.
The NBA’s all-time leading points scorer gestured to his son that he should have given him a bounce pass, before staring him down with a stern glare.

‘Kind of looks at his son and says, “give me a bounce pass,”‘ Mike Tirico said on the NBC broadcast. ‘I love that look because that look was not just LeBron the veteran. That was also LeBron the dad.’
Bronny, who is in his second season in the NBA, played nine minutes off the bench during the defeat to Dallas.
He finished with five points on 2-of-3 shooting and was 1-for-2 from three-point range, and also registered an assist.
Meanwhile, LeBron registered a team-high 30 points on 12-for-22 shooting for the injury-laden Lakers.
Los Angeles has been left ravaged by injury woes in recent weeks with Luka Doncic, Austin Reaves and Marcus Smart all sidelined.

‘It was a shot to the heart and the chest and the mainframe with Luka,’ LeBron told reporters regarding Doncic and Reaves. ‘I woke up from my nap and saw that [Reaves] news and was like, “s***.”‘
Doncic suffered a Grade 2 strain in his left hamstring and has been projected to miss the rest of the NBA season as well as most – if not all – of the first and second rounds of the playoffs.
He reportedly traveled to Europe over the weekend to seek specialized treatment for the injury.
Meanwhile, Reaves was ruled out of the rest of the season after being diagnosed with a Grade 2 left oblique injury.
