Estevao played a major part in Chelsea’s 7-0 thrashing of Port Vale in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup on Saturday, with Liam Rosenior showering the forward in praise
Estevao Willian has shared his appreciation for Chelsea fans of the back of the club’s 7-0 thumping of Port Vale on Saturday.
The two teams met at Stamford Bridge in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup this weekend, with goals coming from Jorrel Hato, Joao Pedro, Tosin Adarabioyo, Andrey Santos, Estevao and Alejandro Garnacho – as well as an own-goal from Jordan Lawrence-Gabriel.
Estevao also notched an assist during the fixture, as he continues to impress on English soil following his arrival from Palmeiras last summer. As a result, Liam Rosenior has recently showered the forward with praise.
The head coach said after Saturday’s win: “There is no ceiling for him. We’ve missed him.
“He comes in and just plays, he wants to get on the ball. Wherever he is on the pitch he’s a threat.”
And now, Estevao has also paid tribute to the support he has received from Chelsea fans over the past year or so. Taking to Instagram, the Brazilian wrote: “First of all, I thank God for everything. It’s a blessing to be doing what I love.
“Very happy with the match, the win, a goal and an assist. Thank you for all the love and support from the fans I love you all.”

Thanks to his efforts against Port , Estevao was also named as the fixture’s player of the match, as an impressive maiden season in north London gets better and better.
The 18-year-old has managed eight goals and four assists from 34 appearances across all competition, and has proved a real handful for opposition defences across the board with his pace and trickery.
It comes as Chelsea advance to the final four of the FA Cup through Saturday’s result. There, they will meet either Manchester City, Southampton, or the winner of West Ham’s 4.30pm kick-off against Leeds United come Sunday.
While the semi-finals of the prestigious competitions are slated to take place on Saturday, April 25, Chelsea will return to Premier League action in the interim.
Rosenior’s Blues sit sixth in the league standings at the time of writing, as they look to secure their place in the Champions League for 2026/27.
Up next is a tense clash with Manchester City in the capital come Sunday, April 12. Games with Manchester United and Brighton make up the rest of Chelsea’s April calendar, before clashes against Nottingham Forest, Liverpool, Tottenham and Sunderland land in May.
