England 0-1 Japan LIVE REACTION: Several Three lions players blow chance to impress as Tuchel’s men booed off at Wembley

England 0-1 Japan – FULL TIME

Japan become the first Asian team in history to beat England, and it’s defeat for the Three Lions in their final home game before the World Cup.

England are booed off as well, and until about the 70th minute, it was a weak and passive performance from Thomas Tuchel’s side.

There are a few players who got a chance, and didn’t deliver at all.

This was a poor way to sign off in front of your home fans.

The only goal from Kaoru Mitoma was a beauty, but Zion Suzuki had very little to do.

And Adrian Durham isn’t happy.

Speaking on eSPORTY, he said: “England, I blame Mikel Arteta – I am only joking.

“They have made it to the World Cup, but we are going there with very little hope of winning it.

“We ended up chucking corners into the box, and that’s not really good enough.”
