The president of Nigeria Tennis Federation (NTF), Honourable Victor Ochei has described Easter as a period of the year that symbolizes the victory every human being can achieve over adversity in life and make the best of their existence.

Sports247 reports that Ochei stated as much in a message he gave in celebration of this year’s Easter festivities and extended greetings in the spirit of the resurrection season to all Christians living in Nigeria.
While urging Christians to reflect on the teachings of Jesus Christ, Ochei further charged all Nigerians to embrace the values of unity, peace, togetherness, self-sacrifice and compassion in their daily activities.
He emphasised that the spirit of Easter should inspire commitment to nation-building, mutual respect, social interactions and service to humanity, then charged everyone in the tennis family to adopt resilience and friendship the season stands for.
“The Nigeria Tennis Federation wishes all Christian faithful a joyful, peaceful, and blessed Easter celebration. Easter symbolizes victory over adversity and the triumph of light over darkness.
“These are values that resonate deeply with our collective aspirations as a nation. Let this Easter rekindle our faith in a better Nigeria and strengthen our resolve to work together in love and harmony for the progress of our dear country.
“As we commemorate the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, this sacred season reminds us of the enduring virtues of sacrifice, love, hope, and redemption,” Ochei sermonised in his Easter message.
